WakeUP The Domain Market IS Back!

A picture taken by my 12 year old daughter in Hebron Israel in 2009. With a little help (maybe from one of my readers) we will be able to live there very soon.

If you are an individual with connections to individuals or companies seeking to purchase a domain or website, any inquiry adressed to me referencing this website can bring you a 10% of the selling price (personal finders fee) and 10% to the charitable organization or institution of your choice.

Here are a few of my domains available (some of these may or may not be advertised) additionally these are "estibot appraisals" and the actual selling price may be within 35-75% above the listed values:

For example I am not positive yet I noticed that the domain WorldWorld.com (it may have used some "PBS type images" yet I don't think it was affiliated with the Channel 13 TV Show, was around 12K and may have been part of a private/public initiative for its website to encourage reading.

However I feel the value of WordWorld.org (partially due to it's 40k search volume) mainly due to its uniqueness and the dot Org works well for this domain, that it should be able to command a price as much twice its current appraisal.

Being able to be the owner of WordWorld.org for $18,750 could put the right company of individual in a very good position in a valuable global niche.

A listing showing this domain for only 5-6k is definitely outdated and is not a "buy now" price. Even if the 18k price has negotiating room in it, this is the type of domain that I would sell quickly at a high price and would want to keep it and develop it on my own if the price was substantially lower.

The important thing is that being able to develop a website around a domain is an important ability for a potential domain investor.

I suppose the simple answer to the domain market questions you might ask is this:

How much money do you want to make in the domain market?

Lets see some recent sales:

autovita.com    15000   USD
polling.com     15000   USD
A domain name like the one above has obvious value, the trick naturally is being it's value to the "right" customer.
salade.com      15000   EUR
bolivien.com    10000   USD
cvpeople.com    10000   USD
The above looks like a good sale, for a useful domain.

goalee.com      9000    USD
bakedfresh.com  7495    USD
Anyone wanting a web presence in the Baking World could be a buyer for the domain above.
ipanels.com     7000    USD
propos.com      6000    EUR
airsentry.com   5882    USD
Yeah, looks like a good name to start a branding campaign.
itservicemanagement.com         5699    USD
giftmob.com     5001    USD
tlctv.com       5000    USD
alquilerdeautos.com     5000    USD
poppys.com      4789    USD
moddos.com      4500    EUR
expressmedia.com        4500    USD
vwj.com         4300    USD
flightstomanila.com     4000    USD
cityatwork.com  4000    USD

The domain above should make you think, how come I never thought to buy that one!

By the way, in case you may be wondering, I have a domain or two that I would like to sell as well:

The main concern should be, when dealing with private parties (including me) is sellers remorse. I had a solid offer but was not really happy with the way the negotiations went down:

The name of the domain is MyWorldOfWork.com, I am the original owner in case that means anything to you!

If you have seriously ever tried to buy the domain that you actually want, It would be wise to have some sort of strategy in mind. My simple answer to the question of what is the true worth [ or value of a domain ] is this:

The domain value is comprised of two major components:

1) The value that it has in the mind of it's owner.

2) Whatever the seemingly arbitrary yet automatic readily available avenues for domain sale and acquisition. For example if one of the major domain selling companies sends you an email saying:

If you want to list your domain with out "Premium Listing Service" [ Translation- the outreach may be greater yet you can expect to pay twice the usual commission ] then you must lower the price to $20,000 or less.

Some people would go for: $19,999.99, yet I figure; $19,750 would effectively serve the same purpose. If I received an offer that had "absolutely nothing to do with the particular "listing" with the domain selling company, meaning....

"That I had absolutely no theoretical, moral, ethical, and especially "legal" obligation" to the domain selling company then I would happily pay 20% [ preferably to a charitable organization ] or to an individual.

The publisher of this website, and seller of the domain: MyWorldOfWork.com;
Stephen C. Sanders
SocCloud1@gmail.com

Was a job developer for a large social service organization and had developed a "then revolutionary approach" to "Job Placement" based on a workshop he had attended in the early 90's given by "self-professed" job hopper-Dick Gaither.

Dick Gaither is one of the most riveting trainer I've ever met! Richard N. Bolles, What Color Is Your Parachute."

Well, the name of the proposal was well received, (at the company I then worked for)...  "WorldofWork", yet the company was not willing to pay me a few thousand dollars more in salary along with a title with the word "coordinator" [ the 1st step up above worker ] to implement it! [ Such small thinking is always a signal of a top heavy company ].

So at some point when I was trying to figure out; why was this company giving me such a hard a time, part of paper-work "response" included the phrase; "MyWorldOfWork" proposal.

So, if $3,840 [ 20% of $19,750 ] does not seem like a generous enough finders fee, imagine that I would be willing to personally tell the obviously larger story behind this domain, and my belief in the value of ideas, at any sort of presentation designed to kick off an upcoming website or service, related to this valuable domain.

One might also need to understand that there are definitely secondary markets for domains, and there may be some entirely legalistic reasons for companies to acquire domains for their own branding or TradeMark reasons.

Suffice it to say that while this is one of the domains I would like to sell, because I could put the money to immediate good use, I do have many others, some perhaps even "more perfect" for what ever you may be looking for!

magtac.com      4000    USD
vinrose.com     4000    EUR
gotg.com        4000    USD
rabatter.com    4000    USD
clearmatch.com  3895    USD
miportal.com    3500    USD
hoolaa.com      3500    USD
milempleos.com  3200    EUR
cnbuy.com       3050    EUR
side-effects.com        3000    USD
pommes.com      2850    EUR

One should also realize that there are also various layers of domain buyers and sellers out there. When I look at the rest of the list (still just a partial from today) you will may realize that some of the domains may well still have the ability to move into a more valuable slot:

foodquest.com   2800    USD
Nice.
beeton.com      2700    USD
raidionalife.com        2600    USD
cardify.com     2500    USD
Clever.
lonson.com      2500    USD
sportsplanets.com       2500    EUR
I would think sportsplanet.com to be much more valuable!
strongerthanyesterday.com       2500    USD
A domain ready for a psychologist's blog, if I ever heard one.
resorted.com    2500    USD
Clever possible "double use" domain. As in the word or as in... pamper me. get me to a spa... I want to "get resorted"....Uh, oh... I'm getting ideas .. hide my credit cards before I call my registrar!
fleurancenature.com     2500    USD
cityportals.com         2500    USD
Great!
vasectomies.com         2352    USD
Yeah.... well ... whatever...
aeroconnect.com         2300    USD
business3.com   2288    USD
reliadose.com   2200    USD
keymove.com     2000    GBP
easycode.com    2000    USD
Now that was a sweet heart deal for the buyer!
postfly.com     2000    EUR
smartpanels.com         2000    USD
ikicks.com      1999    USD
debunked.com    1999    USD
Nice, looking for some quality writing when this hits!

By the way, domains are normally (or typically) sold without any websites or content. Selling of entire websites is an entirely different thing.

blinkshot.com   1995    USD
skillcloud.com  1900    USD
singlereleases.com      1899    USD
yachtsmarket.com        1895    USD
beachvillas.com         1800    USD
atakas.com      1800    USD
novadia.com     1795    USD
wildlifeconservation.com        1700    USD
azjeweler.com   1599    USD
iriz.com        1500    USD

memberzone.com  1500    USD
communityzone.com       1500    USD

These two domains seem to be from the same seller, right?

spcars.com      1500    USD
bunnyfilms.com  1499    EUR
quickconsulting.com     1445    USD
Great Price for the buyer!
cheapflighttobangkok.com        1400    EUR
envance.com     1400    USD
spamboss.com    1350    USD
removemyname.com        1350    USD
Now this looks like a domain name in search of a function!
blackmonster.com        1350    EUR
homeground.com  1300    USD
decus.com       1250    USD
cpamc.com       1250    USD
localadvisor.com        1250    USD
rangement.com   1200    EUR
city-voice.com  1200    EUR
Geeting over $1000 (and this is better EUR) for a Hyphen-Domain is a good sale for the seller!
zealer.com      1195    USD
icig.com        1161    USD
kuponmatik.com  1150    USD
firstlotto.com  1150    EUR

moneyspinner.com        1100    EUR
6mablog.com     1100    EUR
creditcardpaymentchoices.com    1050    USD
simonlyvergelijken.com  1000    USD
bytelight.com   1000    USD

Okay well, I gotta get back to work!

Here are a few more Appraisals for domains that I own. Typically I am really looking to sell domains in the 3k to 18k range.

GenericDomain.US I would want $4,850 and for GreatWebSites.US the same. I would sell both domains for $8,000!  [ A case could easily be made even for just the GenericDomain.US to be worth the $8k with a CPC (cost per click) of $3.82. GreatWebSites.US is no slouch with a CPC of $1.65!

FindCashQuickly.com is really too good to list this way, and estibot has definitely undervalued this domain. Therefore $7,200 for FindCashQuckly.com might solve your problems-as well as mine!
